Somehow Peachy (2015-?)

An occasional folk acoustic duo with Janet Buchanan. We love performing in this configuration, but it's a side gig to our other projects!

Somehow Peachy's rendition of Scarborough Fair at Jacoby Arts Center on October 2, 2015.

The Bonbon Plot (2016-2017)

The Bonbon Plot was a fantastic band that blended bossa nova, samba, and modern French jazz with an indie twist to produce a fresh sound. I sat in regularly on vocals and occasionally on guitar! They have blossomed into a new iteration, internationally-acclaimed jazz artist Janet Evra!

The Bonbon Plot with special guest Holly Barber covering Lena Seikaly's awesome version of 'Please Don't Talk About Me' at Picasso's Coffee House. Check out the harmonized scat solo... :-D Video by Steve Bailey 2017 .

This is a band that clearly cares a great deal about oral hygeine.

51 Fingers (2006-2007)

A terrific, terrific band with a tragically short lifespan. And if you think that you might recognize some of the other fantastically talented women in the group, YOU ARE SO SMART! Check out Tabea MangelsdorfHillary Brownell, Lindee Hoshikawa, and Janet Buchanan, and enjoy more incredible music!

The Lost Disciples (2002)

The shortest-lived band I've been in. Two glorious weeks learning guitar parts by the seat of my pants for an awesome summer camp production of Godspell. If you think the guy next to me looks like lead vocalist and guitarist George Clements of The Lonely Heartstring Band, well, you're absolutely right and you should go check them out right now. They are AMAZING. And if you think the guy next to George looks like Hart Kingsbery of Davidson Hart Kingsbery, well, you're two for two, my friend! What a refined musical palate you have! :-D

PS Our final band member, Kathy Matusek Lovegren (far right), tore it up on the keyboard :-).
