Choir Teacher

Holly Barber is a choir teacher with over fourteen years of experience and exceptional leadership, planning, and relationship-building skills. She is detail-oriented, hard-working, and student-centered with an emphasis on individual strengths, growth mindset, and character unfoldment, and she’s committed to working for diversity, equity, inclusion, and antiracism in her classroom and beyond.

Ms. Barber is a Level III Certified music teacher with the CME Institute and has earned a B.A. in Music (emphasis on Vocal Performance) with highest honors from Principia College and an M.M. in Choral Conducting from California State University, Los Angeles, where her final conducting recital and project report focused on highlighting female choral composers who write for middle and high school choirs.

During the 2020-2021 school year, Ms. Barber and her students collaborated to create over 40 virtual choir performances. You can see a sample of their work here!
